When: A few days after their fight.
What: Elphie decides that she was perhaps a tad rash and decides to apologize.
Elphie woke up for the third day in a row alone. She found that she missed Ford. It was lonely at night. And during the day. She stared at herself in the mirror as she reflected. Her nose didn't look too bad. It wouldn't have been that bad to have just gone to see the doctors. In fact, she had gone to the infirmary, but there were no Doctor's there. Even Jack was gone.
Perhaps she should apologize. Yes... that was what she was going to do. Feeling somewhat nervous, Elphie left her room in her toile pajamas and bare feet. She swiftly made her way to Ford's room and tapped lightly on the door. When he didn't answer, she knocked a little more firmly. After still no answer, Elphie finally turned the knob and pushed into the room.
The bed was rumpled but he didn't seem to be in there. She even checked the water closet. Well... time to wander the halls looking for him. Down on the first floor, she checked every door she found. He didn't seem to be anywhere though... until... that was loud. That was very loud... and it was coming from behind...
Elphie opened the door.
